I don't disagree with any of this. As someone who has fought his weight for many years, and is continuing to do so, the 30 minute mark is just a starting point. And, more importantly, you have to quit making excuses and quit thinking "I must walka round 30 minutes a day, you know, cumulatively". I know that sounds crazy, but I also know what I said and what I hear people saying. And you need to keep it up and not reward yourself.
I know how I finally started to lose weight. It was a lot more than 30 minutes, and cutting out a lot of rotten eating habits. I'm not in good shape. I'm just less likely to die tomorrow.
Yeah, I think this is just a starting point for people who are serious about losing weight and getting fit. However, I love the fact that you can get a tremendous health benefit just by doing 30 minutes of exercise a day. It doesn't even have to be strenuous exercise. Amazing!
